5/2/2011 - Best of the Palm Aire courses. Challenging track, long par 3`s, fair greens. Really enjoyed it. Posted by Toronto Twosome 5/11/2010 - Tough course. Several narrow holes with housing and trees. Greens are small with tricky features. Good course for better golfers, a bit challenging for less skilled. Also played 9 holes on Palm Aire Oaks which was more accommodating. Clubhouse and staff are great. Posted by Wallace (Memphis, TN) 3/4/2010 - Friendly and courteous staff. The best layout of the courses here. Course in good shape, plays tough around the greens. Posted by Henry (Warrington, PA) 12/23/2009 - Tougher than expected. Course in nice shape. Rough is tough. Greens in very good shape. Went off at expected tee time, fast round. All in all an excellent experience. Posted by David (Plainview, NY) 12/5/2009 - The best course I played. Posted by Walter (Sudbury, Canada) 6/26/2009 - Very happy with this course. Posted by Edward (Fort Pierce, FL) 3/23/2009 - The best of the Palm Aire Courses. The staff was awsome. Posted by Joe (Northville, MI) 3/14/2009 - This had the nicest club and course we played. I can't say enough praise for their staff and greens superintendent. The fairways and greens were in top notch condition. I understand that the Superintendent of greens returned after a hiatus. The management should work to keep him happy. Posted by Samuel (Manlius, NY) 2/23/2009 - Course has a lot of play and is not in very good shape. 20 years ago it probably very nice. Posted by Mark (Toledo, OH) 5/20/2008 - Wonderful time. Course and staff was excelelnt. First time booking with Tee Times USA and their choice for our group was wonderful. Found the course to be in great shape. Would not hesitate to play again and again. What a weekend golfer dreams of playing when in Florida. Posted by Albert (Brecksville, OH). 4/29/2008 - Not good. Quit after playing 9 holes. Seen enough. Posted by Guy (Whitby, Canada). 4/7/2008 - Great Course played with my 13 old son in a strong wind and found the course to play fair. Also there are 2 Club Houses in the complex just to let you know. Posted by Wesley (Waukegan, IL). 2/1/2008 - I think this is the best of the four Palm Aire Courses. A good layout. It is more affordable if you do the replay. Posted by Joe (Lauderdale by the Sea, FL). This club has five outstanding courses. The Palms Course has undulating and well-bunkered greens. There are lateral water hazards which will come into play on many holes. The Pines Course is an excellent design for the long ball hitters, but beware of the large fairway bunkers. The Sabals Course is an executive course which is also well bunkered. This is a great course to improve your short game. It consists of fourteen par 3's and four par 4's. The Oaks Course has water coming into play on ten holes. The greens are large, and there are many dogleg fairways. The Cypress Course has large, undulating greens and several dogleg fairways. Water hazards come into play on eleven holes, plus numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. One of the most difficult holes on the Cypress Course is #18,a 430-yard, par 4, with out-of-bounds stakes on both the left and right sides of the fairway, and requiring an approach shot to an elevated green. There is an aquatic driving range available that uses floating balls. |
