1/31/2013 - The Talon course was in good shape, but even from the 6000-6200 yard tees, it was VERY difficult. Posted by Herb (Granby, MA)
8/29/2012 - Good club and course. Very challenge and nice reception from the clubhouse. Posted by Alfonso (Santiago, CHILE)
4/10/2012 - It provided me with all the enjoyment I expected when I scheduled this golf course. It was very challenging for my skill level but I would go back in heart beat - probably during my stay in Naples next season. As green fees go in Naples during the winter season I thought it was fair. Each winter when in Naples I treat myself to one of the better courses. So far this is the best one yet. About Twin Eagles
Talon 7193-74.9-142 6847-73.1-137 6469-71.3-132 6108-69.8-125
TwinEagles, located in Naples boasts two of the top residential golf courses in Southwest Florida. The Talon, designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jack Nicklaus II; as well as The Eagle, which was originally designed by Gary Player in 2007 and re-designed in 2011 by Steve Smyers and design associate Patrick Andrews. Smyers is the architect of such famed courses as Isleworth in Windermere, FL (home to some of the world's best players) and many others including Southern Dunes in Orlando and Old Memorial in Tampa. The Talon's grassy fairways and rolling dunes will call to mind the sandy cliffs and mossy glenns of St. Andrew's, where the game of golf was born. The Eagle features exciting elevation changes rarely seen in Southwest Florida, giving a northern feel to a southern course. The Eagle's imaginatively shaped greens, one of which is more than 15,000 square feet, add to the allure of the new course. The breathtaking, 47,000-square-foot, Scottish Manor-styled Clubhouse was designed to capture the ambiance of St. Andrews. The Talon Course is host to The Ace Group Classic in February and The Eagle Course is host to the CME Group Titleholders November 15-18, 2012. In the November tournament, the world's best female golfers will compete for a $1.5 million purse and a $500,000 first-place check, a prize second to only the U.S.Women's Open Championship.
