12/4/2011 - Arrived with a group of eight from the Ottawa region and looked at the list from teetimes for suggestions. Of all 6 courses played Oak ford was the most deceiving and will not be in our list for next year. The price was a little cheaper than the other courses played but for a few bucks more the results were lot better. Posted by Allan (Gatineau, QC CANADA)

5/21/2010 - Course was in good condition. This is the second time I have played this course. The course doesn't get much play because of its location. I understand it is a real bargain, even in the higher cost winter season. It is reasonable for senior players who aren't particularly long off the tee. 3/17/2009 - Oak Ford is a first class course that tests all handicaps. I played there some twelve years earlier and am glad that I returned. I will do so again in 2010. The course is located in Sarasota, east of I-75, exit 210.
From the I-75 / SR 780 (Fruitville Rd / exit 210)
intersection:Take Fruitville Rd east to Oak Ford Rd (approx.
8 1/2 east of the I-75 / Fruitville Rd intersection). Turn
right and take Oak Ford Rd south to Palm View Road. Turn
right onto Palm View Rd and you will see the clubhouse on
the left.
