Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has proven itself to be a lasting favorite in the Tampa area since the late 1980s. The golf course was designed by well-known golf course architect, Ron Garl. The golf course at Summerfield Crossings is styled after the luscious links-styled courses in Scotland. Golfers will find small, rolling greens, challenging pot bunkers, and fairways that rise and fall with the terrain. For those golfers who like a little something special, there is even an island green on one of the holes - golfers of all abilities will rise to its challenge. The well-maintained 6,903 yard course, from the back tees, is host to the Futures Tour and several tournaments each year.

This is a links-style course with water coming into play on fourteen holes. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #6, a 171-yard, par 3, which calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green.
