8/21/2009 - Playing this course off the back markers (7200 yards) is not for the holiday golfer, so stick to the ones a little further ahead which at 6600 yards is still a good challenge. Some (most) par 3's over 200 yards and those on the back 8 have water all the way to the green so bring your "A" game or lots of balls! Buggies don't have GPS which is a must on this course. Played early in the morning when the sun was just rising, and I swear every hole was straight into it. General condition alright, but heavy overnight rain probably dampened my assessment. Worth the effort to play. Posted by Robert (Essex, United Kingdom)
3/31/2009 - We have played this course before and like it very much. Posted by Michael (Lockport, NY)
3/29/2009 - Our favorite course of our trip. Great, picturesque holes, challenging but not brutal, like a good C.C. in the northeast. Excellant greens, friendly staff, great replay rate. We'll be back. Posted by Jack (Lake Ariel, PA)
3/20/2009 - This was the hometown course. Met members of the ladies league and had a chance to talk about their course and what a pleasure it was to play there. Everyone was very pleasant and made us feel right at home. Posted by Janet (Davie, FL)
3/13/2009 - This was a challenging course with great scenery. If not for the drought it would have more than we could handle but fun. Posted by Marcus (Waukegan, IL)
3/12/2009 - Love it! Great course! Difficult enough for the low handicappers in the group, but forgiving enough for the high ones. Posted by Robert (Greenfield, IL)
3/12/2009 - Least favorite of 6 played this trip. A typical muny facility. Front pretty much up and down. Very wide fairways so may be a good 1st course to loosen up. Back was more interesting than front and more enjoyable. Posted by David (Kenmore, NY)
1/30/2009 - Course was in great condition. Staff was friendly. Prices in restaurant were very reasonable. Will schedule again next year. Posted by AGK (Fripp Island, SC).
5/19/2008 - Well maintained course. Very forgiving. Open course so if you aren't a pro you can find most of your miss hit balls.

4/3/2008 - Forest Lake was a good course for a last day. It was in good condition but, the staff was average I felt. The course layout was good but not overly exciting. Still good golf for not having to drive too far. Posted by Randy (Lincoln, NE).
3/27/2008 - Nice. Would play it again. Posted by Jack (Burlington, CT).
3/13/2008 - It was quite cold that day. Course was enjoyable. Posted by Bill (Akron, OH).
3/12/2008 - Another course that was nice to play and would play again. Posted by Terry (Appleton, WI).
3/10/2008 - Very nice course. Greens need work. Enjoyed that no houses on course. GPS on carts a plus. Posted by Mark (Hamburg, NY).
3/8/2008 - Excellent course. Will definitely will plan again next year. Posted by Joseph (Bensalem, PA).
2/28/2008 - Nice course, fair, good service. Posted by Brian (Paw Paw, MI).
2/28/2008 - A nice course and well kept. We enjoyed playing on it.
2/26/2008 - This was the least favorite course we played. Posted by Glen (Burlington, Canada)
1/10/2008 - Nice course and very easy. Posted by Richard (Bloomfield Township, MI).
12/29/2007 - This is one of our three favorite courses. We came back to play it one more time on our own. Posted by Cy (Loves Park, IL).
11/14/07 - Really enjoyed this course. We played from the white tees, which made the course short enough so that even our higher handicappers could reach most of the par fours. Good shape, friendly folks. Posted by Larry (Davenport, Iowa).
