We enjoyed our round and then enjoyed the course restaurant, which for my money provided the best meal I ate in Florida (pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun). Great day! We always try to get in as many holes as possible to get the rust off on our first day. The course is very fair, but not easy by any means. We all like the variety of styles on the three nines. 3/9/2012 - Good value for the cost. Posted by Bruce (St. John'S, NL CANADA)
3/9/2012 - This was a hidden gem. It was a very fair test of golf. We played all 27 holes but found the red nine a lot tougher than the white and the blue nines. It was a very busy course but it was most enjoyable , fair, and very inexpensive. Some of my playing partners would have liked to play itmore often.Posted by Bill (Brandon, MB CANADA)
3/9/2012 - Royal St. Cloud is one of the biggest bargains I've ever seen in Florida. Can't wait to return. The course was wonderful and the weather was fantastic. Posted by Bill (St. John'S, NL CANADA)
3/9/2012 - We played this course twice and are still shaking our heads as to how inexpensive it was. It has a lot of fun holes on the white and blue nines and many birdie opportunities. The restaurant located at the course was one of the best we experienced in the area. Would gladly return to this course Posted by Bill (Brandon, MB CANADA)
3/9/2012 - The course remains outstanding value for money and was in good shape. It makes you think hard about the incremental value of other courses at three times the price. We will continue to return to Royal St Cloud. Posted by Bill (SN15 5LD Wiltshire, UNITED KINGDOM)
3/5/2012 - Nice course. Posted by Mike (Munford, TN)
3/5/2012 - Great starter course for our group as most of us are hackers and we don't lose many balls here. This course has always been in great shape, but this year it looked like maintenance has slipped a little bit. Still a good course to play. Posted by Mike (Peoria, IL)
3/5/2012 - The course was good, but the service was first rate! By far the best customer service of the weekend. They handled our bags out of the van and the staff were very nice. The club professional greeted us and told us about the course and made us feel great! Would definitely put this on the list for next year! Posted by Keith Murray (Troy, MI)

3/5/2012 - Beautiful course lush fairways and great green's. 2nd year in a row and we'll be back again in 2013. Posted by Greg (Sterling Hts, MI)
2/28/2012 - Very nice course for the $$$. Staff was great and the 3 different nines felt like you were playing on a different course each time. Course was in decent shape and greens were in very good shape. Go in early and get the breakfast at the renovated restaurant. A little far from the resort we stayed at but seemed convenient to play on your way in our out of Orlando. Posted by Jamie (Wolverine Lk, MI)
2/27/2012 - First time playing this course, we played Blue/Red. Blue is not very demanding and many of the holes seem to play shorter than the yardage. The Red even though yardage is similar places a lot of pressure on accurate tee shots, lots of hazards missing the fairways normally means a penalty stroke.
We tried playing the White 9 however found the fairways were very wet and soggy, most fairway shots resulted in being sprayed with mud. The cost for this course is extremely modest and certainly worth the experience. Posted by Calvin (Scarborough, ON CANADA)
2/23/2012 - Played right after got off plane, had time to enjoy lunch at Grill (slow but good). Course was in great shape, our first time there. Stuck us on red side to start and finished on white nine. Lost a few balls on red but had a better round on white. Excellent value for a course in this good of shape, will definately play again next year! Yes, course seemed overbooked, long round, but that seems true of all Orlando/Kissimmee courses we played, packed solid! St. Cloud lives up to it's hype. Would highly recommend! Posted by websled56 (St. John'S, NL CANADA)
2/23/2012 - Course was in good shape (usually is). Course Restaurant next door is a good value. Newest 9 is not quite as nice as the original 18. Will play again...... Posted by Norb (St. John'S, NL CANADA)

2/22/2012 - This was our favorite course of the three we played and we will make it a regular when we go back. It was suited to our level of play and was enjoyable to play. Although we would have preferred to take our own food, the service and food they provided was good. We were paired with a couple who matched our play level and were very enjoyable to play with. The course was in good shape and the staff friendly and easy to talk to. Posted by (St. John'S, NL CANADA)

12/2/2011 - Best value in the entire Orlando area! Links style courses with nice greens, and the price is right! This looks and feels like an expensive resort course at the price of a muni. The new restaurant has awesome food and modest prices as well. We'll always come here on our trips. Posted by Larry (Davenport, IA)

1/13/2011 - This is a can't miss destination for any golf trip to the Orlando area. Although very busy around our morning tee time, we were treated professionally by the staff and starter and sent off in a timely fashion. The golf course was in great shape for the time of year, with green fairways and greens and good grass in the rough. We played from the middle tees and found the course very playable and fair. The greens were not as consistent as another course we played but putted well and true. We had to play a different 9 than originally planned when we teed off, but the inexpensive replay rate enabled us to get in 34 holes before darkness sent us back to the clubhouse. The food at the pro shop after the first 18 holes was very good, a good value and very fast. We have our dates set for next year and Royal St. Cloud will be on the itinerary again. Posted by Tim (Augusta, MI)

1/18/2010 - We enjoyed playing this course and were treated very well. I just wish golfers would play from the correct tees. If you are not at least a 12 handicap, don't think you can play from 6800 yards. We followed numerous golfers who were playing from the wrong set of tees. Posted by David (Flagler Beach, FL)

3/12/2009 - Outstanding course and great people running it. Posted by John (Newfane, NY)
3/12/2009 - A Challanging layout. A better score card could have given more information about blind shots from tees. Pro shop personnel were great. And it was followed by a fantastic lunch on the grounds. Very enjoyable day. Posted by Ray (Ann Arbor, MI)
3/12/2009 - Our group liked this course. Since it was our 1st time playing here, we experienced some difficulties that won't happen again with familiarity. Food was great! Posted by Craig (Indianapolis, IN)
3/6/2009 - Interesting little course, but really worth the drive.
Posted by Tyke (Knoxville, TN)
3/6/2009 - Links course. Well maintained, courteous and friendly staff. Posted by Jan (St. Catharines, Canada)
3/6/2009 - We absolutely loved this links style course. Took a lesson before playing with Doug the golf instructor and managed a 200 yard birdie with the corrections he had me make in my swing. Gators were cool, service was great and everyone we met was friendly. We wish we could have started and ended with the Royal St. Cloud. Great fun!!!! Posted by John (Simsbury, CT)
3/2/2009 - Great course. Lots of fun to play. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Posted by Gary (Rolla, MO)
2/24/2009 - Played last day here, course was in great shape. They are opening 9 more holes this spring, may play 27 there next year. Very friendly staff, an overall good time. Posted by Leo (Kent, OH)
1/30/2009 - Great, great, great! Posted by Frank (Brunswick, OH).
1/22/2009 - Excellent golf course that was a lot of fun to play. The course was in good condition and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Not too difficult with plenty of room off the tee and room around the greens to recover from errant approaches. A good first course to play to get out the winter rust in your game. The lunch at the restaurant was also very good. Posted by Frank (Windsor, Canada).
12/24/2008 - Very nice course. It was a little different and we enjoyed that. Posted by Nick (Joplin, MO).

12/12/2008 - What a fun place to play. Course was in excellent shape and a very friendly staff. The amenities at this place were the best around including some of the higher end courses we played. The best golf course eating experience I have ever had.

Posted by George (Manistee, MI).
12/3/2008 - Great course and staff, but don't be fooled by the wide open spaces, there's plenty of trouble on and around the greens. Posted by Mel.
11/30/2008 - Course was in excellent shape. Very playable course, and staff was very accommodating. New restaurant was excellent. All in all, a very good experience. We will put this one on our list every year! Posted by Larry (Davenport, IA).
11/28/2008 - Excellent course and conditions. Posted by Paul (White Lake, MI).
11/28/2008 - Enjoyable course. Pace of play was very nice. Managed to play 36 holes that day. Posted by Bill (Solon, IA).
11/28/2008 - The staff was very friendly. This is a links style course and hazards, and bunkers are carefully placed to make the average golfer think about where they will place their tee shot for a second shot. A fun course and you should always try to play a second round if you have not played this course before. Posted by Edward.
10/7/2008 - The course was in good condition considering all the rain. Excellent value. Layout was not overly challenging and the greens could have been a little faster. Staff was top notch and very friendly. Stone Bridge Tavern food was EXCELLENT! Would play again. Posted by Osh (Kenilworth, NJ).
6/20/2008 - Very pleasant course. Posted by Patrick (Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom).

4/28/2008 - Second visit to this course. Find it a very nice experience. It is a great "opening course" for visitors with its location near the airport. Very well maintained and very friendly staff. Good value. Posted by Ernie (Springfield, VA).

4/3/2008 - Great links layout in great shape. Would love to play it every year. Posted by York (Lido Beach, NY).
3/29/2008 - Great course links style. Different than the others, we found easy to play and lots of room to hit the ball. The conditions were very good with fast greens. The fairways are generous and easy to find and calculate the yardages. Very good quality for the price. We recommend and will return.Posted by Ron (Greenfield Park, Canada).
3/28/2008 - Very nice course, great condition. Very large undulating greens that putt very true. Interesting holes with generous landing areas, but trouble lurks everywhere. In water, mounding etc. Posted by Sean (Woodstock, Canada).
3/27/2008 - Course was great! Posted by Jerry (Niles, IL).
3/27/2008 - This was the best course we played. It was very challenging, bunkers were easy to get out and sand very even for consistent shots. Greens were excellent, fast and true. Ball tracked very nicely. Only problem was at the turn. They start off back and front at same time and there were golfers starting and coming between our groups because they were back up and behind schedule as much as 30 minutes so everyone was in a hurry to play. Round took 4 1/2 hours. Excellent course though.
Posted by Roger (Mascoutah, IL).
3/27/2008 - Friendly staff and fun course to play. Posted by William (Sicklerville, NJ).

2/27/2008 - Perfect. Posted by Jean (Laval, Canada).
2/26/2008 - Royal St. Cloud is a very fine course to play. I believe that it is one of the must play courses in Florida. This makes the third time that I have played it while being in the Florida area. Posted by Vincent (Abingdon, MD).
2/8/2008 - A fun course to play. The links type layout was an interesting diversion from the typical Florida type course. The greens rolled nicely. The staff was efficient and accommodating. Would play this course again if in the area. Posted by Les (Cadillac, MI).
2/7/2008 - This is a great course to play when coming out of the North and have not played for a while. Open fairways with large greens. A links course that you definitely need a cart to play due to distance between holes. Did not have to play preferred lies. A new Clubhouse in process of being built. It is to be completed soon. Played in 4 hours. Great pace. Posted by John (Dalton, MA).
1/26/2008 - Our favorite course and again it did not let us down. Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to have the new dining area ready. Posted by Paul (Oneonta, NY).
1/24/2008 - This course was nice. Never had played a links style course and I enjoyed it. Challenging and beautiful. This also will be a course we will play again when we return to Florida. Posted by Brandon.
1/22/2008 - Very challenging course, excellent condition. Staff was nice. Should come back. Posted by Quyen (Galloway, NJ).
1/17/2008 - This is a course we play regularly when we come down in January. The course is always in good shape, the staff is nice and there is enough challenge with wind blowing most of the time. They are adding new dining facilities so that will only enhance the overall club offering. I would recommend the course to anyone who likes links courses and does not mind a pot bunker or two along the way.
1/17/2008 - Fun to play. Posted by Bill (Birch Run, MI).
1/16/2008 - This was our favorite course. It was in top condition. The scenery was beautiful. It was a pleasure to play. Would recommend this course to anyone, beginner to seasoned golfers. Posted by Ellen (Pittsfield, MA).
12/23/2007 - Average course, lots of construction at the time.
Posted by Wilfred (Brookfield, IL).
11/23/07 - Great links course. No homes encroaching on the course which was a pleasure. Nice clubhouse. Lots of sand as you would expect with a links course! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Posted by Paul (Bethlehem, NH).
11/23/07 - Great start to golf trip. Course was not overly challenging, but in nice condition. Pro shop went out of their way to accomodate our group - much appreciated. Convenient location. Posted by Richard (Williamsville, NY).
11/16/07 - This was our favorite course. It was in good shape. There was some construction mess near the parking lot, because they are building an nice new activity center. By the time we go next year, it should be finished. All the holes were interesting and most were reachable. Lovely to look at as well. Posted by Larry (Davenport, Iowa).

We tried playing the White 9 however found the fairways were very wet and soggy, most fairway shots resulted in being sprayed with mud. The cost for this course is extremely modest and certainly worth the experience. Posted by Calvin (Scarborough, ON CANADA)
