This course features more than six acres of water hazards, and hole #14, a 364-yard, par 4, plays alongside the Indian River. The fairways are lined with palm trees, and the fast greens are medium-sized.

Directions from Generic Directions:
The golf course is located on Melbourne Beach, east of I-95.
From the I-95 / US-192 (exit 180) intersection:Take US-192
east to A1A. Turn right and take A1A south for approximately
4 - 5 miles to a 4-way stop sign. Go straight (from there on
A1A will also be called Oak St) and you will see the signs
to the golf course. Follow signs to the pro-shop
(approximately 12 miles from the I-95 / US-192
intersection).
Directions from Orlando Airport:
From the Orlando Int'l Airport go to Rte. 528 (Beeline
Expwy.). Take Rte. 528 (Beeline Expwy.) east to I-95. Take
I-95 south to exit 192 in Melbourne. Take Rte. 192 all the
way east to A1A in Melbourne. Turn right and take A1A south
for approx. 4 - 5 miles to a 4-way stop sign. Go straight
(from there on A1A will also be called Oak St.) and you will
see the signs to the Spessard Holland GC. Follow signs to
the pro-shop.

Originally an Arnold Palmer Enterprises design, the course was renovated in 2000. This beautiful par 67 stretch-executive course is an oasis nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon offering year round breezes and memorable views. Long ball hitters lose their advantage with only one par 5, but accuracy and placement are rewarded on the six par 3 holes ranging from 140 to 187 yards. Eleven par 4s weave through 800 sabal palms. The par 4, third hole offers a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon runs along the entire left side of the 340 yard, 14th. Each round, year round, on this course offers a different challenge based on the day's tropical breeze.
