11/5/2009 - Beautiful golf course. Six sets of tees for players of any ability. Package offered great value for this time of year. Had wonderful day with our playing partners that my son and I were paired with. I'd rate this a "must play" while in this area. Posted by Phil (Hobart, IN) 5/15/2009 - First course played right from the airport and it was OK, nothing spectacular. Staff were courteous and the food in the clubhouse was very good and reasonable. Posted by Andy (Chatfield, MN) 5/14/2009 - Very good other than windy conditions. Posted by Brian (South Croydon, UNITED KINGDOM) 4/10/2009 - It has a good ''get off the airplane and play'' location. Fun. Posted by Anthony (Somersworth, NH) 3/12/2009 - Probably the nicest course that we played. Posted by John (Loveland, OH) 3/12/2009 - A little disappointed that the club house wasn't open. Course, however was in great shape. Speed of play was 4-1/2 hours. Greens were in good shape. We enjoyed the layout. Posted by Bill (Carnegie, PA) 2/25/2009 - Good course to start the trip. Posted by John (Baltimore, MD) 2/23/2009 - Pace of play was awful. 5 hours and 15 minutes. Rangers were worthless and all the talk at the 1st tee about how they were really going to keep things moving was baloney. Nice course, good price but get ready for slow slow play. Not worth the drive or time. Posted by James (Naperville, IL) 2/13/2009 - Have played the course five years now. The maintenance has declined over the years. We rated it 6 out of 10. Four years ago we rated it 8. Posted by Helmut (Milwaukee, WI) 2/13/2009 - Just okay. Not a great value. Conditions were average. Posted by Joe (Fitchburg, WI) 2/5/2009 - Okay course. Close to airport for afternoon play. The lowest of the four courses we played. Plenty of water!! Posted by Joseph (Valley Cottage, NY) 1/12/2009 - Very good court, Super friendly and sympatic staff. Nice greens - well shaped. we enjoyed it ! Posted by Gundolf (El Toro, SPAIN) 6/22/2008 - A nice layout but not well conditioned. Water restrictions resulted in burnt out fairways. Of the courses our 8 players played over 4 days of golf, our least favorite. Minimal clubhouse. I'd skip this one... lots of better choices. Posted by Mark (Marshfield, MA). 5/4/2008 - Good lay-out of the course, sometimes difficult because of the water hazards. Good fairways and quick greens. Posted by Petra (Zandvoort, Netherlands). 4/14/2008 - Most enjoyable, liked the layout. Posted by William (Markham, Canada). 3/13/2008 - Always a challenge from the blue tees. Lack of water has caused course upkeep to fall off. Fairway grass was thin. Still enjoyable. Rated it a "7" this year. Posted by Helmut (Milwaukee, WI). 3/12/2008 - Stoneybrook is one of the best and challenging courses I ever played. The design is amazing and you get a lot of value for your money, including a GPS cart which helps you manage the distance on the fairways. Try this course and you will be impressed. Course was ok but not great. Posted by Don (Pittsford, NY). 3/9/2008 - Starter was helpful for the first time golfing in southern Florida. Fairways a little on the dry side. Nice layout, water on course tasted over chlorinated but I would play there again. Posted by Tino (Tecumseh, Canada). 3/6/2008 - Good course for us. Ver well run by starter and marshalls who kept things moving. Posted by James (Rochester, MI). 3/6/2008 - Nice course but a little dried out from the drought. Posted by Arnold (Ft. Myers Beach, FL). 2/28/2008 - Excellent condition, staff was friendly, enjoyed the experience. Posted by James (Shelby Township, MI). 2/1/2008 - We thought this was a 4 star Golf Digest course and were dismayed at how poorly it was maintained and the general feel of the course. We had planned to play 26 holes again on Saturday but called Tee Times and they switched us to Old Corkscrew. Posted by Andrew (West Simsbury, CT) 1/25/2008 - 2.5 stars, Not in the best condition, average layout Posted by Gary (Keswick, VA). |
