10/22/2009 - I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was in great shape and presented an excellent challenge to a 15 handicapper. Staff were outstanding - friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. Posted by James (Bountiful, UT) 3/28/2009 - I'd give it a 3.5 / 5. Posted by Steve (St. Thomas, CANADA) 3/19/2009 - Of the three courses in the package this was by far the best course. The greens were in great shape. The staff here was very nice and accommodating. We were only a twosome and we completed the first round in about three hours. The club house was nice, but the food could have been better. We would definitely recommend this course to others. Posted by Jackie (Iasca, IL) 9/23/2008 - The course was very wet due to Fay but other than a couple of fairways having casual water, the course held up well and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Greens were slow and didn't roll the best. Fairways a little sparse in places. Nice challenge though as far as a course goes. Would rate it a 6.5 as far as qualitiy of the course. 6/5/2008 - Staff was great. Cleaned your clubs after the round. Nice practice facility. Course was not in as good of condition as I expected. Kind of a shame for such a nice layout to be in below average condition. It was cheap but you do get what you pay for, as money needs to be spent on it. Enjoyed it and was able to get out for another 18 in the afternoon and that was nice. Very affordable. This course hosted three USGA National Qualifying Tournaments in 1992. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 4th "Best New Golf Course" in the U.S. for 1992. The greens are relatively small, undulating, and about four of them are elevated. The fairways are separated by thick lines of trees. Water hazards (ponds and a creek) come into play on ten holes. The signature hole is #12, a 141-yard, par 3, featuring a huge mound placed in the middle of the green. You may only walk this course after 3 PM. |
